Norma Peterson Bingham

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008.

She was born May 28, 1929 in Logan, Utah to Clarence Leland and Lavina Riggs Peterson.

Norma married Paul Bingham on November 27, 1946, in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple.

Mother was a homemaker and raised two daughters. She enjoyed traveling and camping with her extended family. She was an accomplished knitter and loved to crochet doilies. She loved to work in her yard and do genealogy.

She was a fun loving grandmother and great-grandmother.

Norma worked for 13 years in the Engineering Department at the Marquardt Corporation.

Mother was preceded in death by her devoted husband, parents, and one brother, C.L. (Pete) Peterson, Jr. and sister-in-law, Lila Peterson.

She is survived by two daughters, Paula (Kenneth) Bird, Roy; Sandra (David) Despain, El Centro, CA; three sisters, Carla (Oran) Stone, Ogden; Monta (Arlen) Daley and Mary (Jerry) Patterson, all of Pasco, WA; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

The family expresses their gratitude to all those who rendered compassionate service to our mother; including friends, neighbors, Vista Care Hospice and Orchard Cove Care facility.
