Norma Helen Konkle Buckley, 78, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2010 at her home.

She was born January 3, 1932 in Ogden, Utah to Ormond and Helen Evans Peterson Konkle. She attended Ogden High School.

On February 11, 1950, Norma married LaVern Lloyd Buckley in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She worked at the Labor Union offices. She was Pink Lady volunteer.

Norma was a member of the LDS Church.

She enjoyed crafts and sewing baby blankets.

Norma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Lloyd; three daughters, Connie Buckley, Ogden; Sandy (Rick) Glismann, Syracuse; Dianna Buckley, Ogden; five grandchildren, Johnny (Paul) Glismann, Jim Glismann, Jeremy (Amanda) Glismann, Joey (Tascha) Glismann, Jarrod (Hayley) Glismann, and two great-grandchildren, Brinlee and Tanner Glismann.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one nephew.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Hemmersmeier for his compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 16th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet friends for a visitation on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
