Norma M. Knight
SOUTH OGDEN – Norma Mary Knight, born August 26, 1927 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Norman and Pauline Umbrage Timms, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010, in Salt Lake City with her family by her side.
She married her beloved husband of 63 years, Clarence A. Knight, on February 22, 1947
and resided in Chimney Hills Condos in South Ogden for the past 17 years. Norma was a kind and loving wife, mother of four, grandmother of 11 and great-grandmother of six.
She loved anything Hawaiian, the ocean, her quilts, and her two cats, Tess and Monica. She was a gardener, talented artist and loved to read. She lived her life for her husband, children and grandchildren and loved them with all of her heart.
Surviving are her loving husband Clarence, South Ogden; children, Lauren (Randy) Sims, Layton; Mike (Linda) Knight, Uintah; Brian Knight, Seattle, WA; Sharon (Laine) Farr, Spanaway, WA; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Elaine Schwers, Albuquerque, NM; and Claudia Fields, Flower Mound, TX.
Private graveside services will be held with the family on Thursday, July 1, 2010.
