Norma Moore
Norma Moore passed on to her heavenly father on Tuesday March 7, 2017 in Layton, UT. She was born on May 30, 1926 in Scott City Kansas her parents were John and Maude Hickey. She grew up around Dover Kansas married Ralph Moore. Norma had two children she taught school in a one room school worked around Topeka Kansas. The family moved to Salmon Idaho where Norma worked at Evans grocery the hospital and the golf course in salmon she loved to be around the golfers.
Norma and Ralph were later divorced. In Arizona she met Lyle Lehman and married they lived between Apache junction Arizona and Star Valley Wyoming. She became the welcome lady or as they called her the cookie lady where she met all the campers that came to Star Valley Ranch RV Resort and showed them around the park delivering cookies to all. She loved her job and did this into her eighties. Survivors include; her children Deanna (Mark) Theobald of Layton UT, Jim (Elaine) Moore of Idaho Falls ID, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death; by her parents and two brothers Don and Ray and a sister Fern.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family one hour prior to services at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
