Norma Pickard passed away in peace on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Layton, Utah.

Norma was born on July 28, 1928 in Paris, Idaho and moved to Ogden, Utah in her teen years.

She was married to Robert Howard ("Bob") Pickard, the love of her life, on March 12, 1947 and lived in Layton and Clearfield for the remainder of her life. Norma humbly served her Lord and her fellow man and served as a daily example to others. She served numerous callings in her church. Norma was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, and was a skilled knitter and avid fan of the Utah Jazz.

Norma is survived by four children and their spouses: Greg Pickard, Neil (Leone) Pickard, Dana (Rhonda) Pickard, Shelley (Blaine) Anderson, a brother Rex (Donna) Passey, and 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert, her six sisters and a son, Robert Brad Pickard.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Sunday, June 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment at Lindquist''s Memorial Park, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton.
