Norma E. Salvitti

Norma E. Salvitti, born in Elberton, Georgia on March 24, 1941, passed away in Roy, Utah on February 22, 2024. Norma led a fulfilling life surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was known for her dedication to her work and the joy she found in simple pleasures.


Norma worked at Lockheed where she met her husband, Emilio Salvitti. They were married on August 12, 1961. Her commitment to her career was admirable.


Her educational achievements were a source of pride for Norma, especially her associate degree which spoke to her determination and perseverance. Beyond her professional life, Norma found solace in spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She had a fondness for trips to Wendover and indulged in crafting during her leisure hours.

One of Norma's proudest accomplishments was transitioning from being a homemaker to joining the workforce at Hill Air Force Base. Her dedication and hard work were evident as she embraced this new chapter in her life until the time of her retirement.


Norma's legacy of love and hard work will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she touched many lives with kindness and grace.


She was preceded in death by two children, Anthony (Son) and Angela Salvitti (daughter), parents, husband and three brothers and one sister.  She will be missed and is survived by Lisa Salvitti Prizament (daughter), Michael (Julie) Salvitti (son), three nieces - Dana, Annette, Teresa, two nephews - Rick, Ricky, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.


Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. The visitation for Norma E. Salvitti will be held on Sunday, February 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 a.m.at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
