Norman Lawford Garner

Norman Lawford Garner, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on July 10, 2013 following a brief illness. He was born to Arthur and Nellie Garner.

He married Anne Wood on October 12, 1963. They raised four children together, Dene (Dana), Lesa (Troy), Craig (Kim) and Mathew (Linzi).

Norman was born in England. He emigrated in 1977, with his wife and four children to the U.S., where they settled in Utah. Norman worked for the Corporation of the President, LDS Church, as a Journeyman Plumber.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His acts of kindness and service touched the lives of many.

Norman leaves behind a loving wife, four children, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Caroline and June, and one brother, John.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Peter.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 17th Ward, 386 East Elberta Dr., North Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd., and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
