LAYTON a€" Norton John Harmon, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

He was born October 28, 1936 in Idaho Falls, Idaho the son of Lorenzo Barnes and Victoria Christensen Harmon.

Norton married Shirley Kay on June 27, 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. Norton was a sportsman and loved golf, woodworking, fishing and fly tying.

Surviving are his wife Shirley, daughter, Kay (David) Hamer, North Ogden; son, John (Stephanie), Clearfield; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother, Arthur (Marilyn) Harmon, Clinton; two sisters, Jane Ball, Rexburg, ID; and Caroline Hansen, Clearfield.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Delores and brother, Elton.

Friends may visit family Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
