On December 23, 2024, our sweet, strong sassy and beautiful Oakleigh Jean Larson passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home in Syracuse, Utah.
Oakleigh was born December 24, 2015, in Ogden, Utah to her loving parents, Matthew and Brittany Larson. Oakleigh attended 3rd grade at Syracuse Arts Academy North, where she had many wonderful friends and teachers.
Oakleigh was shy at first, but once you got to know her, she was an outgoing diva who loved to sing and dance to Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, and Kesha. You could always find her putting on her makeup or getting ready to put a show on for her family and friends.
Oakleigh was silly and always had a way of making a room light up. Oakley had a heart of gold. She loved all animals and had several pets that she loved caring for. Often times she would accompany her mom to work where she would help assist the residents.
Oakleigh loved spending time with all of her family, but really enjoyed spending time with all her grandparents, aunts, and uncles and was always excited to play with her cousins.
Oakleigh loved all things Barbie and Stitch, and was always ready to watch You Tube or play “family”.
Oakleigh is survived by her mother Brittany Larson, father Matt Larson, brother Hendrix Pearson, grandparents Debbie and Craig Geis, grandmother Patricia Larson, Grandma Rachelle Naves, grandpa Jason “Papa Wolf” Vigil, aunts Ann and Lorraine Larson, uncles Brian (Katie) Larson, Dinno Lorenzo, and Alex (Brittany) Vigil.
Preceded in death by her baby sister Ryatt Larson, aunt Natalie Geis, cousin Elias Vigil, and grandfather Jeff Larson.
