Oilau “Mona” Fa’agata Togiai
Layton, UT- Oilau “Mona” Fa’agata Togiai, 67, of 967 E Nicholes Ave, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 2, 2022, at Ogden Regional Hospital.
Born in Fagatogo, American Samoa she was the daughter of the late Fa’agata Fa’agata and Selita Pele Fa’agata. She retired from AAFES, was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by a son, Raymond Lavalouis, a daughter, Amy (Inoke) Lavalouis-Hu’akau, brothers, Sala’a Fa’agata, Fauloloa Fa’agata, Lesealii Fa’agata Mason, McClusky Fa’agata, Joseph Fa’agata; Sister, Selita Mano Fa’agata WooChing; 16 grandchildren, Danny Boy Lavalouis-Toro, Dahnie Lavalouis-Mamea, Raymond Lavalouis-Mamea, Ku’uipo Lavalouis, Nazaretta Lavalouis-Talia, Elcid Lavalouis, Zion Lavalouis-Talia, Kela Lavalouis, Oilautiare Lavalouis-Hu’akau, Tevita Hu’akau, Viliami Hu’akau, Anthony Lavalouis, Danny Lavalouis, Mana Lavalouis, Faea Lavalouis, Florence Niupulusu; one great-grandchildren; Athina-Mia Tuileleapaga numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Family and friends will gather and continue the graveside shortly after the Bishop’s Service.
