Maxine Allred

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother and Great-great-grandmother Opal Maxine Allred passed away peacefully on January 26, 2023. Maxine was born July 21, 1932 in Ogden, Utah. She is the daughter of Harold Albert and Rachel Elmira Salisbury Woodruff.

She married Juston Blaine Allred on December 8, 1950. They later divorced.

She worked outside the home, and later retired from the Defense Depot of Ogden in 1997. Mom was very loving, quiet and shy until you got to know her. She loved flower gardening and enjoyed her weekly Pinochle and Mahjong clubs. She also attended Bible classes.

Maxine is survived by her three daughters and one son, Debra Allred, Cindy (Curt) Hunt, Kevin (Debbie) Allred and Dana (Denny) Morton. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, David Duane Allred, and five siblings, Viola (Dale) Saunders, Wayne Woodruff (Kay), Dale Woodruff, and twins, Arlene (Lamar) Bingham, and Darlene (Harvey) Hall.  She also leaves behind 9 grand kids, 11 great-grandkids and 1 great-great-grandkids.

We extend a special thanks to our sister Debra for her endless love, patience and care she provided our Mother throughout her extended illness.

A special thanks also goes to hospice, and everyone who helped in the caring of our Mother.

Graveside services and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
