Opal L. Wolfe passed away October 13, 2018, 34 days short of her 88th birthday. She was born November 16, 1930 in Sheridan, Wyoming to Leonard and Alice Montgomery, one of seven sisters.
Opal met the love of her life, Glen Wolfe, and was married July 8th, 1948 in Brigham City, Utah. They had three children.
She worked at Hill Air Force Base as a photographic repair technician, repairing reconnaissance cameras for F-4 aircraft. She later retired in 1982.
Opal loved crocheting, and shared that love with her friends and family.
She is survived by her son Doug (Becky) Wolfe, daughter Terry Wehrman, daughter in law Marilyn Wolfe, nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Glen, son Dale Wolfe, and four sisters.
Our family would like to thank the CNAs and staff at Apple Village Assisted Living, Rocky Mountain Care Center, and Inspiration Hospice for the care and compassion Mom received. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for the consideration of a donation made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
