WASHINGTON TERRACE – Orville Voss passed away on August 17, 2015.  He was born on October 14, 1922 in Faulkton, South Dakota to Charles and Anna Voss.  Orville was married on March 12, 1956 in Izmir, Turkey to Sevim Ozseckin.

Orville was retired from Hill Air Force Base after having served in the Army during World War II and the Navy during the Korean War.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, bingo, farming, and square dancing.  He was also an avid gardener.

Orville is survived by his children, Linda (Dave) Finch and Larry (Sandy) Voss.  Also surviving are two grandsons, Ron (Stacey) Klein and Shawn Voss; great-grandchildren, Chris (Lindsey) Archuleta, Chelsey Nielsen, Luke Crane, Izaiah and Damien Klein; and great-great-grandchildren, KeKoa and Dominic; and by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sevim Voss in 2008; and by his brothers and sisters, Vernon, Dorothy, Lloyd, Clarence, Warren, Louella, Art, and Leona.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
