Osmond LeCheminant "Lee"
CENTERVILLE - Osmond Lionel "Lee" LeCheminant died of age related causes at home March 23, 2008.
He was born January 31, 1927 to Edmond Lionel LeCheminant and Ruth Williams LeCheminant. He served in the US Navy during World War II where he fought in the battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. He married Ramona Haycock on May 27, 1949. He continued to serve his country at Hill Air Force Base where he worked on the Titan, Minuteman and Maverick missile programs.
He is survived by his wife Ramona; son Randall (Mary) LeCheminant of Omaha, NE; daughter Leslie LeCheminant; son Reed (Sandy) LeCheminant; grandson Justin (Stephanie) LeCheminant; granddaughter Maegen LeCheminant; sisters Vilate Allen, Renee Brown, Diane Bell, Geraldine (Clint) Chapman, Louise Fowlks, Grace (Don) Holt, Norma (Don) Schults and brothers Don (Shirley) LeCheminant, Ray (Patti) LeCheminant and Stephen (Beverly) LeCheminant.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Friends and family may call Wed. March 26th from 6-8 p.m. and Thurs. 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary. Interment Centerville City Cemetery, 700 E. 400 S. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
