Ozella May Ward McFarland

Ozella died peacefully on May 21, 2012. Born in Almo, Idaho to Asael and Alice Ward on June 11, 1918. Ozella loved her young life on the family ranch. She worked alongside her father milking cows and tending to her beloved horses.

Ozella moved to Ogden as a young woman. She worked as an elevator operator in the Walker Bank Building touching many people''s lives with her charm and contagious laugh. Ozella was a cherished friend to many. She loved gardening, fishing, and celebrating life with laughter among family and friends. She did so always looking her very best. Never to be caught without eyelashes, makeup, jewelry and a warm smile for all. We love you Mom!

Her beloved husband Clyde McFarland preceded her in death on July 14, 1996. They are together again at last. She is survived by four children, 21 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, brother Bud and sister Beryl.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Forest Park Ward, 2250 E. 2200 N., Layton, Utah, where friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
