Pamela VanBrocklin Higley
KAYSVILLE a" Pamela VanBrocklin Higley passed away with her loving husband at her side on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on March 8, 1947 in Washington DC, to the loving arms of Maxine Gardner and Robert White VanBrocklin. Reared and educated in Sunset, Pamela graduated from Clearfield High. She married Edwin Gregory Higley on September 23, 1966 in the Salt Lake Temple. They lived in Kaysville for 36 years and are the parents of seven children and 19 grandchildren.
Mom loved music and was an amazing singer. At age 18, she was the youngest member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Mom loved to laugh with her family, and was a loving caregiver and lived for her kids and grandkids. She was a member of the Kaysville 20th Ward where she was loved by many.
Survived by her devoted husband Gregory and children: Travis (Anya) Higley, Layton; Trenton (Christianne) Higley, Kaysville; Tyler (Gloria) Higley, Kaysville; Tim (Suzanne) Higley, Clearfield, Taft (Jill) Higley, Bountiful; Jennifer (Daran) Lowry, Kaysville; Julie (Joshua) Tew, Kaysville; sisters Jill (Rod) Moore and Annette Lewis; brothers: Robert (Chris) VanBrocklin, Kelly (LeAnn) VanBrocklin, Todd (Allison) VanBrocklin; and mother-in-law Afton Higley.
Preceded in death by her father and mother, Robert and Maxine VanBrocklin and grandson Christian Higley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 20th Ward, 855 East Mutton Hollow Road. Funeral directors, Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton.
