Pamela J. Naisbitt-Oldroyd

Pamela J. Naisbitt-Oldroyd passed away on April 22, 2012 in her home in West Yellowstone, Montana.

Pam was born November 1, 1954 in Oceanside, California to Gene and Norine Collins. Pam was raised in Ogden, Utah, graduating from Ogden High School. She later attended Surgical Tech at McKay-Dee Hospital. She moved to Wisconsin for three years to assist her previous husband to complete his residency. She was a mother of three children, Tiffany, Cole and Steele.

Her family then moved back to Ogden. While her then-husband built his medical practice, she also pursued her own career in construction by participating in a partnership that lead to the creation of a successful company, specializing in heavy timber framing and ancient architecture, and interior design building 50 homes, spanning over four states, as well as an essential part of what is now Ruby River Restaurant in Riverdale, Utah.

Passions and dreams brought her to West Yellowstone where she married her current husband, William Oldroyd. Together the two continued their lifelong ambitions, including the resort Hibernation Station, family, horseback riding, and everything outdoors. Pam was a loving wife and mother, accomplished businesswoman, and an artist extraordinaire.

She chose to be laid to rest next her son, Cole Naisbitt, on the family ranch outside of West Yellowstone.

Pam is survived by her husband, William Oldroyd; two of her children, Tiffany and Steele Naisbitt; four stepchildren, Katrina Mann, Courtnie Gregory, Skye Mckee and Caleb Oldroyd; 13 grandchildren; and three sisters, Jackie Paul, Sally Mcfarland, and Linda Farr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Norine Collins; her brothers, Bill and Tom Collins; and her son, Cole Naisbitt.

Funeral Services were held in West Yellowstone, Montana. An informal Memorial and Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
