Pamela Sue Palmer
SOUTH OGDEN a" Pamela Sue Palmer, 64, died Thursday, April 7, 2011 in South Ogden following a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born March 22, 1947 in Ogden, a daughter of Louis W. and Venice Paine Dallof King.
Pam married Rod Mason Palmer on August 5, 1967 in Elko, Nevada. He preceded her in death on July 1, 2001.
She lived her childhood and early years of marriage in Layton. Most of her married life she lived in Clearfield.
Pamela was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was the secretary of the Klunker Klub motorcycle club of Ogden for many years. She loved traveling on road trips with the club. She also enjoyed scrapbooking. Having her grandchildren gathered around her was her heaven on earth.
Surviving are three sons and four daughters, Alan Leon (Rhona) Palmer, Clinton; Bret Mason (Linda) Palmer and Robert Mason Palmer, both of Ogden; Holly Sue Kester, Clearfield; Jaime Lynn (Troy) Palmer, Roy; Pamela JaNae (Justin) Brooks, Ogden; and stepdaughter Cathy Rinderknecht, Ogden; 27 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, William D. (Berthann) King, American Fork; Jerry L. (Olivia) King, Farmington; Karla (Bobbie) Buys, Tularosa, NM.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
