Pamela “Pam” Lynn Barker Gerrard

Pamela Lynn Barker Gerrard passed away peacefully on October 23, 2014, at the age of 45.  She was born on April 25, 1969, in Long Beach, CA.  She graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 1991. She was married to William Lee Gerrard on November 2, 1992.  She is survived by her husband, Bill and children, Jordan William (16), Hailey Sarah (13), and Emily Ann (9).  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Allison.  Pam is also survived by her mother, Elizabeth Ann Barker Bergkvist, and stepfather, Frank N. Bergkvist; her father, Theo G. Barker II, and stepmother, Kim; her sister, Colleen (John) Low; stepbrothers, Erick Berkvist, and Alex (Linda) Bergkvist; and stepsister, Lindsey M. Bergkvist (Panos Georgopoulos).

Pam has valiantly battled breast cancer for over 7 years.  She was a loving wife and mother.  She was a kind, happy, and gentle soul who was a friend to all.  She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She will be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Riverdale 4 ^th Ward, 5500 South 1175 West.  Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Additional funeral services will be held in Long Beach in care of McKenzie Mortuary.

Interment, Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on October 30 ^th .
