Parker Lyne Whitaker

February 4, 2005 ~ January 28, 2021

Parker Lyne Whitaker “DH & Spook Pook” was born February 4, 2005 and after beating the odds everyone put against him for 15 years he was called back to heaven on January 28, 2021. Anyone who met Parker loved him and his spunky attitude. He spent his time on any motorcycle he could get his hands on or relaxing at home with his dad watching motorcycle shows. He always said his dad was his best friend and stuck by that. Parker enjoyed messing around with his brothers and being bribed into tasks he didn’t want to do so he could buy his own root beer. Even with the limitations his heart put on him he lived his life to the fullest despite people telling him no. This boy would’ve given the shirt off his back for anyone who was cold and he often gave his jackets up while we were all outside. We loved every second of time we got to spend with him and are so grateful for all the random adventures he was dragged on. Even if he didn’t originally want to go he always did it with a smile. We’re so glad you guys all loved him as much as we do.

Parker was preceded in death by his brother, Micheal Whitaker and his grandmothers, Judy Smith and Brenda Whitaker. He is survived by his father, Shelby Whitaker; mothers, Nickole Whitaker and Ladawn Whitaker; brothers, Aspen Bates (Caitlin), Joseph Whitaker (Maddison), Garth Whitaker, and Daniel Whitaker; sister, Kinzley Johnson; step-siblings, Trysten and Brett Slagowski; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Parker’s life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
