Pat Mower Rawlins
1938-2021
Patsy (Pat) Mower Rawlins passed away peacefully at her home in Woods Cross on Wednesday January 13, 2021 at the age of 82.
Mom was born in Oak Creek, Utah on June 14, 1938, the second child of Cleston Max Mower and Velma LaRue Vance Mower. She married Richard Albert Rawlins on September 10, 1955 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on November 2, 1956.
They were blessed with six children: Carolyn (Steven) Oberbeck, Bert (Kaye), David (Kathi), Janette (John) Milligan, Cleston (Robin) and Jennifer (Charles) Davis.
Mom was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and filled many callings throughout her life. Her favorite was serving in the nursery. Her testimony of Jesus Christ was strong and never wavered.
Mom loved quilting, playing card games with her family (she hated losing), hockey (especially the Golden Eagles before their name was changed to the Grizzlies), flowers, gardening, baking, going to the temple and yelling at other drivers on the road.
She is survived by her children; 23 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Scott (Kathy) and Clark (Sandy) Mower and her sisters Sharon Kimber, Marlene Powell and Janean (Larry) Blake. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, parents, sister Joan and brothers Kerry, Kirk and King.
Mom was kind, generous, had a dry sense of humor and loved serving others. She will be missed by all.
A special thanks goes to her neighbor and dear friend, Sharon Anderson, for her love and help over the years.
