Francis Patricia Vincent (Pat)
May 25, 1937 – May 23, 2022
Francis Patricia Vincent, known more as Pat, Grandma Pat, or “GP,” at the age of nearly 85, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2022, surrounded by her beautiful children. She was born May 25, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas to JD and Mary Farris. Pat was the oldest child. Pat is preceded in death by her parents and little sister, Carmain Schweiger.
Pat graduated from South High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1955, Pat married Albert Vincent, and together, they raised five children then later divorced. Pat was a true entrepreneur, had a very successful businesses, and traveled the world with her friends and family. She loved her family more than anything in the world. Pat was the most loving and giving person. She would do whatever it took to make others feel valued and important. She was mom and Grandma Pat to many of her kids and grandchildren’s friends and teammates. When she would walk into the room, arena, or the field; she would light up the place with her presence. She was everyone’s rock. Pat loved everything Disney and will be remembered by the Disney song “It’s a small world” as that was her favorite ride. She also loved the beach. No matter where she traveled, she always wanted to spend time with her family in the places she most loved.
Pat is survived by her five amazing children that love her unconditionally. Mike Vincent (Angelica), Linda Lish (Tim), Steve Vincent (Sherry), Susie Metcalf, and Vickie Flint; along with her 14 grandchildren that are her everything. Britni, Tiffni, Jeremy, Scott, Bobby, Jodie, Justin, James, Jackie, Chad, Chelsa, Ryan, Chase, Megan, and her 26 great grandchildren.
Pat will forever be missed, but as she promised; she will always be the guardian angel to her family and live in our hearts forever. She left an impact on this world and truly blessed the lives of so many. We love our sweet mom, grandma, and great grandma.
Pat will be laid to rest by her Mother Mary, at Wasatch Lawns in Salt Lake City, Utah.
