Patricia Hunsaker Belnap

LAYTON a€" Patricia Hunsaker Belnap, born April 23, 1954 to Robert W. Hunsaker and Faye Balls Sears in Ogden, Utah, at Dee Memorial Hospital passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Ogden Regional Hospital in Ogden of complications after open heart surgery.

She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She loved all of her family with all her heart. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life along with the rest of her family and husband. She lived selflessly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She lived in Ogden until she was 11 years old. Then moved to Charleston, SC for 1 A½ years then moved to Millington TN for 1 A½ years, from there to San Diego, CA where she graduated from Montgomery High School.

She married Richard Collett. They had three beautiful children: a son Zackary R. Collett and two daughters, Jennifer Collett Abel and Erica Collett. They later divorced. She married Dennis Packer Belnap on February 22, 1980. Together they were blessed with two more beautiful children, Alisha Faye Belnap Brierley and Derek Belnap.

Patricia resided in Layton until she passed away.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert W. Hunsaker, daughter Erica Collett who passed away at 10 months, grandparents Laren and Mabel Balls, grandmother Rose Nalder Belnap, step-father Robert Sears. Surviving are her husband Dennis Packer Belnap, Layton; her mother, children, Zackary R. (Hillary) Collett, Jennifer (Joe) Collett Abel, Alisha Faye (Tyson) Brierley, Derek Belnap, grandchildren, Keagan Collett, Lexie Manis, Sadie Manis, Levi Abel, Kaleb Abel, Zackary Abel, Reagan Alisha Abel, and Noah Brierley.

Also surviving are four brothers and two sisters, Robert W. (Vickie) Hunsaker, San Diego, CA; Kathryn Ann (Gaert) Sime, Gainesville, Virginia; Larry D. Hunsaker, Brigham; Karyn (Lloyd) Thompson, San Diego, CA; Randall W. (Heike) Hunsaker, Perry; Phil Smith, Brigham; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lamar G. and Flora Packer Belnap, and sister, Judy (Chris) Ospital.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
