Patricia Ann Browning

February 6, 1957 ~ September 26, 2021.

Patty passed away peacefully at home after battling cancer. She danced her way through life, growing up in Ogden. She was known for her enthusiasm, fun parties and her big heart. Her parents, Roderick H and Mary Browning, were ecstatic when she arrived.

She loved, served, and spread joy to all she came in contact with. Patty was happy to serve the Lord on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Dominican Republic.

She studied her brains out at Utah State University earning a degree in Medical Dietetics. She worked at the Bank of Utah, and at the WIC offices in Weber and Davis Counties and took loving care of her dad in his last years.

Patty had a unshaken testimony of Jesus Christ and served Him faithfully. She was fun, caring and loved all while helping many.

Our family gatherings with Patty will be missed by Patty's brothers, Jon (Rainee), Frank (Deanna), and Tony; sister, Carolyn (Cary) Schumacher; and many nieces and nephews will miss her. Patty will always be the favorite aunt.

She's having a joyous reunion with many relatives including her parents and nephew, Joshua Browning.

Patty never lost her positive attitude or let rheumatoid arthritis or cancer get in the way of living life as fully and as completely as possible. She became an inspiration to many. Her compassion for others and her passion for living life are part of the legacy she leaves for those who knew her and loved her.

The family would like to thank the medical community for the great care she received through the years. To Patty's friends: thank you for the love, friendship and support you have shown her throughout her life.

In lieu of flowers, Patty would want you to celebrate by eating chocolate, a snickers bar or another treat with those you love.

A family graveside service will be held at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
