Patricia Kohler Griffin

Patricia Kohler Griffin passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2011.

I was born in Logan, Utah on November 11, 1946 to Walter Dale Kohler and Sarah LaPreal Batt Kohler.

I attended school in Smithfield and Richmond and was in the first graduating class of Sky View High School in 1965. That same year I married my one and only true love, Kent Lynn Griffin. We have two children Michelle and Shane, daughter-in-law Amber and two grandchildren Kenzi and Dillon.

I am a member of the LDS Church and have worked in the primary, Relief Society, Sunday school and YWMIA. I loved to decorate for ward events (dances, parties, etc.) and making arts and crafts, writing poetry, playing the piano, and listening to all kinds of music especially Elvis and rock ''n'' roll.

I am survived by my husband of 45 years, my daughter Michelle, my son Shane, his wife Amber and grandchildren Kenzi and Dillon. Also my mother S. LaPreal Kohler, sisters Andrea (Lynn) Larsen, Sandra (Bob) Albrecht, Cynthia (Ed) Jewell and nine nieces and nephews.

I was preceded in death by my father W. Dale Kohler and my grandma''s and grandpa''s.

Private family services will be held with interment in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
