Patricia Joyce Hale

Patricia Joyce Hale, 94, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living, in South Ogden, UT.  She was born on March 17, 1922 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of William Frederick and Bessie Maria Payne. 

She married Arvil Hale on October 7, 1944 in San Bernardino, California.  They were married for 62 years.      

Joyce taught elementary school in the San Bernardino area until her retirement in 1986.

Joyce is survived by her son, Douglas; daughter-in-law, Cindy; and grandsons, Geoffrey and Andrew.   She was preceded in death by her husband Arvil and her two sisters Grace Hall and Marjorie Stavenhagen. 

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday the July 21, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, N “D” Street in San Bernardino.
