Pat passed away at her home on Monday evening surrounded by family. After 54 years of marriage Pat joined her husband Ben on Monday, February 9, 2009 after a long illness. She was born to Evertt and Thelma Williams on October 6, 1931 in Burley, Idaho. Pat leaves behind her family that knows she loves them. She is survived by 7 sons and 2 daughters, Ward (Sarah), Steven (Karen), Gary, Dan (Cindy), John (Jenifer), Ben (Cheryl), Ann Gibbons (Randy), Jill Lodder (John), and Russell (Jennifer). She has a special place in her heart for each of her 39 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren and 4 more on the way. Ben and Pat also helped raise several children that found their way into their home. Life was always fun and interesting at the Holbrook''s. She will now watch over them from above. Also surviving are brothers Mike and Bill. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Bob, and a great-grandson Christopher.

Pat graduated from East High School in 1949. She and Ben met while attending the University of Utah and continued to be avid U of U football and basketball fans. They were season ticket holders for 57 years. They married March 22, 1950. Their marriage was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. After his graduation from the "U" in 1953 she spent the rest of her life doing the following: changing diapers, doing laundry, taking flying lessons, climbing every pyramid, visiting every archeological zone in Latin America, traveling the world, preparing meals, chauffeuring kids, doing needlepoint, being rescued by a seaplane north of the Artic Circle, being caught in the middle of a political assassination in Guatemala, supporting her husband as he served in various church callings, serving as a guide on Temple Square, snow skiing, having her boat hit by a whale while fishing off the coast of Panama, serving in many church positions, serving on the Woman''s Endowment Board of Primary Children''s Hospital, doing genealogy work, watching hundreds of wrestling matches, track meets, basketball and football games at Davis High School, waiting for her children to come home each night, living in Ecuador for 4 years, being caught in a landslide in the Andes Mountains, panning for gold, visiting the Indians in the Amazon and volunteering at schools and orphanages in Ecuador. Pat loved life. Her legacy to her family is her love of our Lord and Savior and her testimony of His everlasting Gospel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Farmington North Stake Center, 729 W. Shepard Lane. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center.

Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
