Patricia Ann Morgan

June 19, 1945 — December 11, 2024

Patricia Ann Morgan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, in Layton, Utah, at the age of 79. Born on June 19, 1945, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Patty's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with the love of family, faith, and an unmistakable passion for creativity.

Her journey took her through multiple states, including Idaho, Utah, Tennessee, Virginia, Guam, Washington, and California. Each place became a cherished chapter in her life story, enriched further by her service on an LDS mission to New York, which helped shape her commitment to her faith and her community. Patty held many callings within the church, including serving as the Young Women's President, Primary President and the Relief Society President as well as many others. Her enthusiasm for participation in activities reflected her engaging spirit and devotion to uplifting those around her.

A graduate of high school and later completing and teaching cosmetology school, Patty embraced the art of beauty not only in her profession but also through her hobbies. She was an accomplished seamstress who crafted most of her own clothing, a talented doll maker, and found joy in reading, crocheting, baking, cooking, embroidery, canning, and painting. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she touched the lives of her family and friends through her heartfelt creations.

Patty's family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her sweet husband, Dennis Morgan, her son, Jeremy Morgan of Ogden, Utah, and her beloved daughters: RaShelle Workman of Syracuse, Utah, Chandi Keller of Frederick, Maryland, and Alicia Peterson of Roy, Utah. Her sister Catherine Ruybal of Delta, Colorado, also survives her, continuing the legacy of a strong familial bond.

While Patty's departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, she is met in eternity by those who preceded her—her son Jason Morgan, her sister Rosalee Warnock, her brother David Tremelling, her sister Irma Cottam, her mother Juanita Tremeling, and her father Lester Tremelling. Each of these loved ones welcomed her with open arms, celebrating a reunion that transcends time and earthly struggles.

As we reflect on Patty's life, we remember her unwavering spirit, her zest for life, and the unconditional love she poured into her family. Her laughter, artistic gifts, and nurturing heart will be profoundly missed, but her legacy will continue in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

Patricia Ann Morgan leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, woven with her countless acts of love, creativity, and service. Though she may have departed this world, her spirit will forever shine brightly in the lives she touched.
