Pat Emma Anderson Budge

Patsy Anderson Budge of Layton, Utah passed away on February 15, 2023. Pat was born on August 8, 1942 to Emma Nicholas and Lloyd Anderson in Ogden, Utah. After Pat graduated from Weber High School in 1960, she went on to study at BYU.

In December of 1960, Pat became acquainted with Glen Budge at a church dance in Roy, Utah and they were later married on June 7^th, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. Glen and Pat went on to have five children: Pamela, Susan, Nanette, Stephanie and Kristine.  Pat worked many jobs over the years, with her most treasured jobs being as an office manager for a dental practice, secretary at Hill Air Force Base and the Northern Utah Representative for Senator Bob Bennett.

She served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, starting at 16 when she was called to teach the Beehives.  Pat had a strong testimony of and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ all of her life.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Anderson and Emma Taylor, her older brother Bobby Singleton, sister-in-law Clara Singleton and granddaughter Sharon O’Keefe.  She is survived by her beloved husband Glen L. Budge, her brother, Kurt Anderson, her five daughters, Pamela Budge, Susan (Gene) Spiers, Nanette (Russell) Stewart, Stephanie (Brian) Carver, and Kristine Budge Youngman, 12 grandchildren, Nicole, Benjamin, Nikolas, Chloe (Jeff), Hanae, Graeme, Julia (Hayden), Aiden, Kai, Cooper, Ashlinn and Parker, and one great grandchild, Paisley, to be born in May 2023.

The family would like to thank Intermountain Hospice and McKay-Dee Hospital for their kindness and the loving care they showed to Pat and her family.

Funeral services will be held Thursday February 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Snow Creek Chapel, 845 North 1150 East, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit with family Wednesday February 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery, Roy, Utah.
