Patsy Irene Edwards, 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013. She was born on March 7, 1951 in Ogden, Utah, to Edward Wisely and Mildred Irene Howe Osborn.

She married Merlin LaMar Edwards on November 14, 1971 in Elko, Nevada.

Patsy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was a foster parent to several children for many years. Patsy enjoyed her work as a CNA in the medical field.

Patsy loved fishing and spending time in the outdoors. Her joy was going to the casinos, especially when she was winning.

The grandchildren will remember Grandma for her love of cooking, being beautiful, loving to talk to them, being funny, and having a smile that made them laugh. She was very kind and loved to help others and make them happy. She enjoyed Country Music and watching TV. Most importantly, she loved her family and spending time with them. Mom and Grandma, you will be missed.

Patsy is survived by her son, Brad Edwards; daughters, Veronica White and Jennifer Gilliland; several grandchildren; and brothers, David Osborn, Rex Osborn and Terry Osborn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mildred Osborn and brothers, Gary and Harry Osborn.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

The family would like to thank Joyce Pearce for being her second mother, Ray Pearce, Sharon and Dwight Goodnight and Donald and Sue Edwards for their unconditional love and support.
