Patsy "Pat" Elaine Segars

Patsy "Pat" Elaine Segars, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed peacefully at her home Clearfield, Utah, on October 23, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on February 15, 1947, in Toccoa, Georgia, she was the cherished daughter of Buford James Segars and Mary Francis Butler.

 Over the years, Pat called many places home, having lived in Commerce, Georgia, Taccoa, Georgia, Aniston, Alabama, Bremerton, Washington, Kent, Washington, Bonney Lake, Washington, Lake, as well as Layton and Clearfield in Utah. Her life was a tapestry woven with experiences across these communities, where she forged lasting connections and shared her vibrant spirit with those lucky enough to know her.

 Pat was not only known for her warmth and kindness but also for her intellectual pursuits. She found joy in reading, puzzle crosswords, Sudoku, and puzzle making, hobbies that brightened her days and challenged her mind. These passions reflected her curiosity and determination to engage with the world around her.

 She leaves behind her beloved sons, Michael (Jennifer) Standridge and Allen Matthew Standridge, who will forever cherish the lessons she imparted and the love she provided. Pat is also remembered fondly by her grandchildren, Travis, Christopher (Vanessa), Amanda, and Peter (Zoe), as well as her great-grandchildren Jayden, Jace, and Ryan, who brought her immense joy and pride.

 Pat is survived by her dear sister, Francis "Frankie" (Dave) Bowen, who shared many cherished memories with her. She was preceded in death by her sister Judy, her mother Mary Edmonds, her father Buford, and her great-grandson Draigon, all of whom she will join in spirit.

 Pat's legacy of love, resilience, and intellect will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her humor and opinions during her years, leaving behind a rich tapestry of memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

 A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday November 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
