Patt Koob
Patt Koob, 83, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah.
Patt was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a loving wife of 57 years to her high school sweetheart, George Koob, and a kind mother to her two sons, Kevin and Doug. She lived most of her married life in Kansas City, Missouri and recently moved to North Salt Lake to be closer to her grandchildren.
Patt was a professional model and managed a modeling agency in Kansas City. Following her modeling career, she returned to college and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Avila University. She proceeded to teach elementary education in public schools. Patt loved being in the presence of others, and was passionate about the game of golf and writing her life story. She will be remembered by all for her beauty and elegance, positive outlook on life and ability to live each moment to its fullest.
Patt was preceded in death by her son, Kevin. She is survived by her husband, George, son, Doug and his wife, Meg, their children, Lauren and Ryan and sister, Erma Hogan of Logan, Utah.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2007 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may call at 12 noon. Graveside blessing at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 E. 500 S. Salt Lake City.
