Patterson Willard Sizemore

Patterson “Pat” W. Sizemore LAYTON – Pat W. Sizemore passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009 after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. He was born March 9, 1925 in Wheatland, Wyoming son of Corda and Dora Gardner Sizemore. He served with the Army Air Force during WWII and was in Europe with the 323rd Troop Carrier Squadron. Dad was always proud to be a veteran. On March 29, 1947 he married the love of his life, Helen J. Driebusch. They celebrated their 62nd anniversary a few days before he passed away. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant son Michael and two brothers and a sister. After his family, he loved hunting and fishing or anything in the Flaming Gorge area. He is survived by his spouse Helen, three children: Patrick (Linda), Janet (David), Bret (Yvonne), five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren (with one on the way), and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
