Paul Julian Garcia
1957-2007
CLEARFIELD– Beloved father, son, brother and uncle returned home to his Heavenly Father on October 24, 2007.
Paul (Pablo) Julian Garcia was born March 19, 1957, in Las Vegas, N.M., the son of Julian Melaquias Garcia and Emma Martinez. Paul graduated from Clearfield High School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army.
Paul was constantly surrounded by those who loved him and is survived by his mother Emma Martinez and step-father Alfred Jose Martinez of West Valley; sisters Irene (Sam) Gallegos of West Haven and Debbie (Jim) Grygier of Clinton; brother, Leonard Garcia of Clearfield; daughter Jennifer (Deven) Curtis of Lehi. Paul also felt the love of his nephews and nieces; Angello (Kelli), Jilyn (Kanin), Mikey (Lacy), Feliz, Alicia, Gavin and many aunts, uncles and cousins to numerous to name but all having a special place in his heart.
Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards, camping, fishing, fast cars, amazing everyone with his card tricks and was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and Elvis.
Paul is preceded in death by his grandparents Fidel (Eufelia) Garcia, Alex (Bernice) Martinez, father Julian, Uncle Mickey, and cousin Eloy.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street. Prayer service at 7 p.m.
Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street.
Paul was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
