Kaysville, Utah – Paul B. Henry Jr. passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the age of 93. He was born July 15, 1920 in Woodbury, New Jersey to Paul B. Henry and Eva Kleinhanz. He grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey attending local schools and graduating from Rutgers College and later Weber State College. He served in the Air Force during WW II as a Bombadier and Navigator. In 1945, he met and married Itha Steed and together they had one son, Paul. He followed in the family tradition and made a career in construction for over 50 years. He was a man of great character and kind words, always believing that a good days work deserves an honest days pay. He was an avid sportsman and reader, always having a good book by his side.
Preceding him in death are his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Surviving him is his loving wife of 68 years and devoted son, Paul. The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the devoted doctors, family members, neighbors, and hospice workers for their dedication during these oppressive times.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Kaysville’s Lindquist Mortuary, 400 N. Main Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute or Primary Children’s Medical Center.
