Paul Geoffrey Scardino

Paul Geoffrey Scardino, beloved husband, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend passed away on October 26, 2022, at his home with his loving wife of 31 years by his side.

Paul was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and was a very successful software engineer. Paul started his own company, Western Vision Software, and sold his products around the world.

Paul married Cheryl (Cheri) in Michigan in 1991, and they moved to Utah that same year. Paul and Cheri have enjoyed living in Layton, Utah for over 31 years.

Paul enjoyed traveling with his wife, hiking, bicycling, snow skiing, going to the beach, visiting Disney World, and going to Del Taco. He especially loved spending time with his niece, Abby, and his beautiful wife Cheri. He also had wonderful friends and enjoyed boating with them on Pineview Reservoir.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Cheri; sister-in-law, Cathy Brown (John); niece, Abby Brown; mother-in-law, Joyce Glore; uncle, Chris Gowman; nephew, Andy Bastien.

Paul is preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Scardino; Father, Sarge Scardino; and sister, Susan Bastien.

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and friends. A celebration of life will be held in honor of Paul in Layton, Utah.
