Paul H. VandenBosch
OGDEN a" Paul H. VandenBosch, son of Lou H. and Ella Dean VandenBosch, passed away Sunday morning April 18, 2010 at a local care center from causes incident to age. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was born in Ogden, Utah May 19, 1930. He grew up in Ogden and attended Ogden City Schools. He graduated from Weber State College and Utah State University.
He served with the U.S. Air Force at Travis Air Force Base for four years.
He taught elementary school in the Ogden City School District for 28 years.
Paul was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served in many leadership callings including Bishopric and High Priest Presidency. He loved participating in sealings at the Ogden Temple for many years.
Paul is survived by two sisters, Karen (Kellie) VandenBosch, and Linda Hartmann, two brothers, Noel (Barbara) and David (Joan) VandenBosch, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Lois Browning, Klea Hales and infant sister Susan.
Paul was a kind and generous man to all. He will be greatly missed. Many will remember his gifts of new crisp two-dollar bills.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
