LAYTON – Paula Jean Murdock, 53, passed away March 31, 2018 at her home peacefully surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 2, 1964 in the Womack Army Hospital, North Carolina the daughter of Reed O. and Carol Ann Saddler Murdock.
Paula was a member of the LDS Adams Park Ward and active in Special Needs Mutual.
She participated in the Special Olympics of Utah in track and field, bowling, and bike racing. She medal in most events.
Paula loved shopping for clothes and jewelry, bowling, track and field, going to the “Bank,” camping, dancing, singing, sharing her testimony and wishing everyone a Happy Birthday.
She had a fun personality and everyone fell in love with her. Paula loved watching movies and old shows on TV. She loved to give compliments and celebrate her favorite month of October. Her favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas.
Surviving are her parents, Reed and Carol Murdock, Layton; brother, Ryan (Missy), nephew, Daxton, West Haven and her two dogs, Beethoven and Cindy.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Adams Park Ward, 1015 N. Emerald Drive, Layton. Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
