Pauline S. Coombs

Pauline S. Coombs, 87, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born October 25, 1934 in Ogden, Utah to George Anson and Carrie Ella Stokes Steed.

On April 20, 1951, Pauline married Ralph David Coombs in Wyoming. She was a military wife and they lived in Hawaii, Texas, New York, Colorado, Riverdale and Roy.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she faithfully served a church mission at the cannery.

She enjoyed quilting, square-dancing, sewing, painting, family history, playing the piano and love to sing when she was baking. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren.  

Pauline is survived by her husband, Ralph D. Coombs, their children, Carolyn Bennett, Charyl (Steve) Jackson, Cindy (Robert)) Ross, David (Necha) Coombs, Shelly (Randall) Ripplinger, Debbie (Mark) Livingston; 25 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Lawana Fronk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Roy 9^th Ward Chapel, 2175 West 4250 South.

The family will meet with friends on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
