Pauline Marie Hutton McNeely passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2015 with her daughter by her side.
Pauline was born on May 26, 1926 in Rupert, Idaho to Audra Linzy and Willis L. Hutton.
She graduated from Rupert High School in May of 1944 and married her class sweetheart and friend Raymond McNeely on October 27, 1944.
They lived in Rupert, Burley and Boise, Idaho, and moved to Ogden in 1955 where they have resided since. Throughout their marriage Raymond and Pauline enjoyed camping, boating and snowmobiling, especially annual snowmobile trips to Yellowstone National Park with family and friends. After moving to Utah, Pauline worked at Southwestern Skyways at the Ogden Airport and Thiokol Chemical. After leaving Thiokol she spent more time with the family business. A member and secretary of the board of directors of Ski Associates, she worked over 12 years with management and kept the books for the Nordic Valley Ski area.
Pauline enjoyed most throughout her life cooking, especially for family and friends, snowmobiling and boating. As her family grew with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she most enjoyed visiting with them. Pauline also had some very special friends who have become family, especially Kathy, Nan, and Sharon. She enjoyed watching sports with family, especially the Utah Jazz.
Pauline was loved by many, and will be missed by all who knew her. She always made sure everyone was taken care of and had their dinner plates full before starting her plate. Her family and friends will always remember her hospitality and love.
