Pauline Rogers

Pauline Lemon Rogers

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was lovingly embraced as she returned to our Heavenly Father at home with her children by her side on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 after a beautiful and fulfilling life.

Pauline was born to loving parents, William Walter and Lula James Lemon on July 3, 1929.  She was the third of nine children.

She met her eternal sweetheart, William Blaine (Bill) Rogers at the Dance Hall in Hyrum, Utah and was sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on November 28, 1951.

She had a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She faithfully served in many callings including Primary President, Ward Librarian and Boy Scouts. She served two full-time missions at the LDS Employment Center in Layton, Utah for a total of two years.  She then continued to volunteer, with her husband, at the center for an additional five years.

Through their beautiful union Bill and Pauline raised five children; Gary (Debbie) Rogers, Cindy (Rick) Kenley, Paula (Richard) Copps, Suzanne (Brian) Gnehm, and Steven (Brandiann) Rogers, along with 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her siblings, Melroy (Bonnie) Lemon, Elizabeth Chlarson, Myra Sorenson, and Peggy (Burdell) Dahle.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents and siblings John Lemon, Dorothy Anderson, June Baker and Ann Lemon.

The family would like to express our deep and heartfelt gratitude to Summit Home Health and Hospice especially Jenny, Bobbi, and Ashley for their loving care and concern for our mother.
