Paulyn Russell Whitney

Paulyn Marie Russell Whitney, 40, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012.

She was born February 2, 1972 in Ogden, Utah.

Paulyn graduated from Weber High School in 1990.She also graduated from Eagle Gate College in 2011, Magna Cum Laude, with an Associate''s Degree in Medical Assisting. She was currently employed at Ogden Clinic, Grandview as a Medical Assistant. A job she greatly enjoyed!

On January 18, 1991, she married Jeffery Whitney in Pleasant View, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Bountiful LDS Temple. From this union, three beautiful children were born, a son, Michael Thomas, and two daughters, Ayrica Marie and Alyssa Grace. They were later divorced.

Paulyn was an avid music buff! She enjoyed going to concerts with friends, her sister and brother-in-law. She loved going to Bear Lake with family and friends. Her favorite thing to do was to dance and sing with her girls. Paulyn also loved spending time with her children and her family, no matter what the occasion. She had an amazing bond with her mom, Denise and her dad, Tom!

Paulyn is survived by her children, her parents, Thomas and Denise Russell, Pleasant View; Grace and Gary Haider, Coon Rapids, MN; her sister, Shannon Hendry (Brandon) Hamblin, a brother, Trent Russell, a special niece, Bailie, special nephews, Drake and Rocco, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents West, Hileman, grandma Chacon and her cousins, Crystal and Bub.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 23rd at 11 a.m. at Evergeen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd.

The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.
