Peace Koike

Peace Koike, 91, passed away in Illinois. She was born to Fukuicki and Hideko Nonaka Akimoto.

She married Shunji Robert Koike on December 29, 1946. He passed away on March 26, 1979.

Peace was the loving mother of Patricia (Dan) Albers and Kathryn (Larry) Houle; cherished grandmother of Sara, Veronica, and Robert; and loving sister of George Akimoto, Thomas (Frances) Akimoto, Itsuo Akimoto, and Mamiyo Iseki.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brother, Harding.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Logan City Cemetery.
