OGDEN a€" Pearl Avery Kellerstrass, 89, died Thursday, September 20, 2007 at her home in Ogden from esophageal cancer, with her loving family by her side.

She was born February 27, 1918 in Ogden, a daughter of Thomas H. and Frances Avery Upton.

On March 17, 1939, Pearl married Gordon Mack Kellerstrass in Salt Lake City.

She lived the majority of her life in Ogden.

Pearl was a volunteer at McKay-Dee Hospital for several years. In her younger days, she enjoyed golfing and bowling. She also loved raising her family and supporting her husband through the years. Her favorite pastime was watching old movies. Pearl was an excellent cook and enjoyed having parties with her friends. Pearl and Mack traveled extensively enjoying their time together.

Surviving are her husband Mack of Ogden; three daughters, Peggy (Raymond) Bowden, Eden; Kathy (Steve) Everett, Ogden; Boni (George) Nourse, Roy; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and three sisters.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Family will meet friends at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Primary Children''s Medical Center.
