Pearl Jean Jaques Viator

LAYTON a€" Pearl Jean Jaques Viator passed away Monday, September 6, 2010.

She was born February 23, 1939 in Layton, Utah to Melvin Jaques and Pearl Combe. She graduated from Davis High School.

She was a full time employee of J.C. Penney where she met her husband of fifty years. On August 27, 1960, Jean married Clarence D. Viator in Elko, Nevada.

She was dedicated to the D.A.V. and a proud member of Chapter 14 Utah Women''s Auxiliary where she served as the Chaplain and Commander of the State of Utah Auxiliary. She was the type of person that made you feel welcome with a smile always on her face. She loved her grandchildren and traveling.

Jean is survived by her husband Clarence D. Viator, her brother Dee Jaques, children: James D,. (Donna) Viator, Tresea K. (Dan) Snow, Terry K. Wood, Tamara A. (Don) Milarski, Johnny M. (Kim) Viator, Christine Viator, 21 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James and Jerry.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. The family will meet friends for a viewing on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton.
