Pedro M. Garcia, Jr., 73, of Ogden passed away on July 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.  “Pete” was born on December 9, 1941 to Pedro Garcia, Sr. and Florencia Muniz in Lubbock, Texas, and lived most of his adult life in Ogden.  Pete married the love of his life, Clara Gerhardt, and they were married 54 years.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, working on antique cars, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Clara; daughters, Irma (Jerry) Puente, Carol (Mike) Gallegos, and Sandra (John) Euresti; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, three brothers, Abel (Betty) Garcia, Mike (Judy) Garcia, and Sam (Betty) Garcia; and sisters, Eloisa Pineda and Lillie Aguilar.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Julia Rocha, Antonia (Richard) Rodriguez, and Ernestina (Manuel) Otero, and brother, Doroteo Garcia.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South, Ogden.  Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
