Peggy Madge Marshall Cook
KAYSVILLE a" Peggy Madge Marshall Cook, age 89, passed away at her home late Sunday, November 28, 2010, rejoining her eternal companion.
She was born September 1, 1921 in Norwich, England. She is the daughter of John Albert and Ellen Baker Marshall. She married Marion Sherman Cook on February 19, 1944 in England and was sealed with him in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 13, 1946. Together, they raised six children.
Peggy was raised in Norwich, England. She came to the United States as a war bride after WWII. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Peggy also served as a primary teacher for over 30 years and loved children. She has a special love for animals and enjoyed writing.
Peggy is preceded in death by her sister, Ellen, her husband, Marion, her daughter-in-law, Mina Cook and granddaughter, Sarah Cook. She is survived by six children, John Marion Cook, Salt Lake City; David Marshall Cook, Kaysville; William Barnes (Valerie) Cook, Kaysville; Michael Robert (Marsha) Cook, Kaysville; Paula (Mike) Roberts, Kaysville; and Paul (Sue) Cook, Kent, WA; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Kaysville East Stake Center, 201 So. 600 E. Friends may visit family on Friday from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
