Peggy Jane William Pontius Wilcoxon

December 4, 1931 ~ August 12, 2015

Peggy Jane  Williams Pontius Wilcoxon, age 83 completed her journey through this life on August 12, 2015.  Peggy was born on December 4, 1932 in Amarillo, Texas.

Peggy enjoyed traveling, crocheting and doing needle point but mostly being with her family.  She was an active member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine and the Eastern Star.

Peggy worked throughout her life until retirement in the Trust department of various banks in the areas where she lived.

She married John A. Pontius in Amarillo, Texas and together they had 2 children, Pamela Sue and John Mark. Later in life she was married to Schooly Wilcoxon.

Peggy is survived by her two children, Pamela and John (Mark), seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husbands and her parents.

The family would like to invite you to celebrate Peggy’s life at a Funeral service on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Bld.
