Perry Elmo Hutchings

Perry Elmo Hutchings was born on December 22, 1935, to Elmo Robert Hutchings and June Osborne Hutchings in Minersville Utah.  Perry passed away Sunday evening, September 27, 2021, at the age of 85 years and 9 months.  He was sealed to Shirlene Farnworth on September 5, 1974, in the Provo Utah, LDS Temple.

Perry worked hard all his life, overcoming many physical challenges, culminating in his retirement from civil service.

He loved being outside and got very excited about fishing and hunting.  In later years he enjoyed getting together with family, going to the fair and just watching any movie.  He also was a devoted photographer, taking pictures of everything, everywhere he went.  Perry looked forward to Sunday and the opportunity to attend church.  Perry was a happy person and loved everyone.

Perry was preceded in death by his wife, parents and two sisters, Claudia Martin, and Afton Dietz.  He was survived by 2 brothers and a sister, Sharon Steele, LuDell Hutchings (Jo) and Mark Hutchings (Kathy), and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Melanie Acres Ward Chapel, 1895 S. Main Street, Clearfield, Utah.  Friends may visit with family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service.

Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
