Perry M. Pierce

Perry M. Pierce passed away October 24, 2011 at the George E. Wahlen Veteran''s Home. He was born October 26, 1926 the third of fifteen children to Willard Lavar Pierce and Rose Blackburn Pierce in Wellington, Utah.

He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War and retired from Hill Air Force Base after 28 years of service.

He married Shirley Ann Pagano on August 28, 1963. Perry is survived by his wife and their daughter Kelly (Scott) Smith of Ogden; and their son Douglas (Colleen) Pierce of Layton; and as well as four grand-daughters Alexa, Victoria, and MaryAnn Pierce, and Bailey Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
